About the Unit

The first facility of it is kind in Saudi  Arabia and the  gulf states is designed and equipped according to the interactional biosafty standard that allows trained laboratory team to work with risk group  3 viruses such as avian flu-SARA rift valley fever virus, Dengue fever virus, west Nile virus and other viral Hemorrhagic Fever viruses as well as other dangerous micro organ – isms ,in a safe environment.
